Homeschooling Mom
Well, let's see...I can't tell you much about myself without talking about my kids. I am the proud mom of two boys - - both with their own special needs and incredible souls. We've been homeschooling since 1999, and we love learning together!
Techno Geek
I've loved technology since technology SO wasn't cool. I love all things new and shiny and containing buttons of any sort. This has led to part-time web maintenance work, a part-time job at a local bookstore maintaining computer inventory, and an online marketing job for a homeschool curriculum company called Time4Learning. It also fuels my ongoing interest in educational technology and assistive technology.
Writer
Writing is simply in my blood. My dad passed on his love of words to me, and I literally can't get them out of my head (except when I am putting them on paper.) I got my degree in writing, and over the years have contributed articles to monthly publications, periodicals, curriculum publishers, and the web. I currently write five online blogs, and have written multiple online articles on homeschooling and technology. You can view my blogs and articles here.
